If you are visiting a ticketed show, it is advisable to book your tickets online ahead of the visit, but you can purchase them at the ticket desk upon arrival too. Please note we do not accept cash at the ticket desk.

You can bring your own lunch, we have two tables on the ground floor in the foyer area you are welcome to use.
Our onsite cafe Alba has sweet and savoury options.

We do not house a collection, all our exhibitions are temporary.
Are pets allowed?
Service dogs, with certification can be admitted into the exhibition.

What else can I do in the area?
We are located in the buzzing heart of East London, around the corner from Brick Lane, Shoreditch, and Aldgate.
We are less than 1 minute walk from Aldgate East underground station. Alternatively, Liverpool Street and Tower Gateway stations and Shoreditch High Street or Whitechapel overground stations are approximately 15 minutes walks from the Gallery.
The 25, 205 and 254 stop outside the gallery.
The 15, 115, 40, 42,45 and 67 buses stop outside Aldgate Station.
The 35, 43,78,149, 242, 344 and 388 stop on Commercial Road.
The 242 and 253 stop outside Liverpool Street Station.

Cycling is recommended as an alternative mode of transport. The nearest docking stations for Santander Cycle Hire are at Altab Ali Park, Aldgate East, with 15 docking stations, and Braham Street, Aldgate, with 34 docking stations available.
Visitors are encouraged to use public transport where possible. There are a number of external parking facilities nearby for visitors wishing to travel by car, please contact the facilities directly for more information.
